You are going to form family groups to take a trip to California on a wagon train.

Select a family name, then decide which items on the list you need to bring with you. Remember you have to feed a family of four (or five) all the way to California. Think about the kinds of food the pioneers ate, what tools they needed, and what items they would need when they got to California.

 

Each member of the group should take a role as a family member. Choose an age for each member of your family. They items you choose to bring will be determined partly by the ages of the members.
