Extension:

The class may want to publish an entire César Chávez newspaper to send home to parents or to members of the community. The newspaper may have articles not only on the life and achievements of Chávez but interviews with local people who may have known him, or a calendar of events in the school or community that have been organized to celebrate the holiday.
