- You will be researching people from a broad period of history. Make sure you put the person in context of their era.
- You will be evaluating the achievements of people based on their impact for the laborers they represent, the society as a whole, and the ideals of the Constitution. You will need to weigh issues and make judgments related to violence, rights to property, fair and equal treatment, and social justice. These are very big ideas where people disagree fundamentally, so you will need to be thoughtful and reflective.
- Your exhibit needs quality research but also an attractive layout. Test the look of each section before you glue things on to the bulletin board or back board.
- Persuasive writing needs to be backed with accurate and adequate fact based reasons. Make sure all of your ideas are backed with at least one fact-based reason.
