California State Indian Museum Located at 2618 K Street directly behind Sutter's Fort in Sacramento, the State Indian Museum is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm except Thanksgiving, Christmas and NewYear's Day. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children 6-12 and free for children five and under. The museum exhibits a fine collection of California Indian cultural artifacts including exquisite basketry, beadwork and clothing.
