Harvesting

The Student Farm does not grow crops just for fun. The vegetables and fruits they produce are sold just like the ones you buy in the supermarket.

	When a crop is ripe, or ready to eat student farmers harvest it.

	Here are cherry tomatoes just picked by one of the student farmers.

	Here a student farmer picks carrots.

	The harvested crops are loaded onto a truck and brought to the green house where they are divided into baskets for sale.

	Here a student farmer places cherry tomatoes into the baskets. Each week The Student Farm sells 25 baskets of fresh vegetables and fruit.

	This basket is ready to be sold.

	The baskets are loaded onto the truck.

	The baskets are placed in the shade and are ready to be picked up.
