Teacher Introduction

This virtual field trip was developed as part of the Schools of California Online Resources for Educators (SCORE) Project, funded by the California Technology Assistance Program (CTAP). It is designed to be used with primary grade students as part of a social studies and/or science unit on plants, gardens, or farms. It can be used by a whole class and by individual students. Teachers may want to bookmark the page for students to begin with.

Activities

Each section of the field trip includes a connecting activity designed for primary students. Look for a hot link marked "Activity" at the very bottom of each web page. Activities can also be accessed from the Home Page.
