You will be responsible for assembling the best examples of visual and performing arts, architecture, and literature of Islamic Africa to show the Arab Empire and Western world. You will become knowledgeable about Arabic art, architecture, and literature and engage in intellectual exchanges with leading Islamic scholars on these subjects. You will work with the Council of Religious Faith to find examples of mosques throughout the Islamic Empire in preparation for building a glorious new mosque in Timbuktu. You will also be charged with assessing the short-term and long-term impact of this journey on the future of the Empire of Mali. Along with other members of the Council of Arts, you will make a full report to your monarch and the court.
